Settings
Settings let you change how Poneglyph looks, sounds, and behaves. Most options apply to you only and save automatically.
Open settings
Section titled “Open settings”Choose File ▸ Settings, or press Ctrl+P.
The left side lists sections. Click one to open it. The sections you see depend on your role and the modules you have installed.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”In the General section:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| UI Language | Sets the language of menus and buttons. |
| Theme | Switches between light, dark, and system. See Themes. |
| Nickname colour | Sets the colour others see next to your name in Live Feed. |
| Minimize to system tray | Keeps Poneglyph running in the tray when you close the window. |

Turn both off for a silent session.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”Poneglyph updates itself when you start it. There is no button to turn this off. If an update fails or keeps retrying, see Auto-updates.
Sync engine options are set per link, not in this window. You choose target Folders, strict validation, and other options when you launch a sync. Open a sync link, then adjust its launch options there.
The Reset Settings button at the bottom of General returns every setting to its default. Your projects and translations are not affected. The app version shows in the bottom-right corner.
