Tour of the main window

This page names every region of the main window so you know where to look.

Capture the whole Poneglyph window with callout labels pointing to each region: left sidebar (project tree), breadcrumb, tab bar, central grid, filter bar, footer/status bar, and the notification area. This is the key orientation image.

The regions

Left sidebar. The project tree of Folders. Select a folder to show its Lines in the grid.

Breadcrumb (top). Shows where you are in the tree. Click a crumb to jump back up a level.

Tab bar. Holds your open tables and views. Switch tabs with the mouse, or press Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+9.

Central grid. The Lines and their Translations laid out across one column per language. This is where you edit.

Filter bar (above the grid). Narrows what the grid shows. See Filter bar.

Footer / status bar (bottom). Shows sync status, Line and language counts, your name, and the Job Center button. An Update button appears here when a new version is ready. See Status bar and Job Center.

Notification area (top-right). Pings and alerts from your teammates appear here.
