Install
Get the Poneglyph desktop app running on your Windows PC.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- About 300 MB of free disk space for the app and its local cache
Choose how to install
Section titled “Choose how to install”| Method | Who it’s for |

| Studio-shared installer (Perforce / network drive) | Most people. Your studio admin keeps the build up to date. |
| Direct download from the Poneglyph releases page | Solo users or small teams. |
Run the installer and follow the prompts.
What gets installed
Section titled “What gets installed”- The Poneglyph app
- A handler for
poneglyph://links, so deep links from the web or chat open the right project - A taskbar jump-list entry for quick access
Staying up to date
Section titled “Staying up to date”After install, Poneglyph updates itself in the background. When a new version is ready, you get a notification. Restart the app to apply it.
