Search suggestions

As you type a query, Poneglyph suggests what comes next. Pick a suggestion to drop it into your query. You don’t need to remember the exact wording.

Suggestions appear in two places:

• The Filter bar above your Lines.
• The search overlay (Ctrl+Shift+F).

What gets suggested

Start typing and a dropdown opens below the box. It offers three kinds of suggestions, based on where you are in the query.

Type	What it is	Example
Column	A field you can search	Language, Folder, Status
Operator	How to compare	equals, contains, is empty
Value	A real value from that column	english, needs review

The list narrows as you type. Values come from your own Project, so you only see options that exist.

Use a suggestion

1. Click in the Filter bar or open the search overlay with Ctrl+Shift+F.
2. Type the first letters of a column, operator, or value.
3. Press Down and Up to move through the list, or hover with the mouse.
4. Press Enter or click to insert the highlighted suggestion.

Poneglyph adds the right spacing and syntax for you. Keep typing to build the rest of the query, picking suggestions as you go.
