Crash reporter
Crash reporter
Section titled “Crash reporter”When Poneglyph crashes, the crash reporter packages your logs and a minidump and offers to send them to support.
What gets sent
Section titled “What gets sent”- The Poneglyph log file for the crashed session (
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Poneglyph\Logs\…json). - A minidump (
MiniDumpNormal) of the crashed process. This is a snapshot of the program’s state — call stacks, loaded modules, recent memory — but not the contents of your translations. - The Poneglyph version and your operating system version.
Your logged-in nickname is included so support can match the report to your account; your password and other credentials are never sent.
Opting out
Section titled “Opting out”The crash reporter prompts for confirmation before sending. Click Cancel to skip the send. If you’d like to silence the prompt for a specific run, launch with --no-crash-report.
To browse your crash logs locally, Help → Open log folder opens the right directory.
